Victoria Memorial is the largest marble building in Kolkata. It was built in 1906. This palace is dedicated to the memory of Queen Victoria(1809-1901). This is now a museum and a tourist spot in Kolkata. This was built in the British Raj. The construction was made by Rs.1 crore in those days. The architect of this memorial was William Emerson.
