Khajjiar is a hill station located at Chamba District in Himachal Pradesh, India. It's located about 24 kms away from Dalhousie. Khajjiar sits on a small plateau. And it's surrounded by meadows and forests of Far, Pine trees etc. From the history this Khajjiar was called as 'Mini Switzerland'. Mr. Willy T. Blazer, Vice Counselor and Head of Chancery of Switzerland in India in 1992 take Khajjiar in the world tourism map on 7th July, and name it as 'Mini Switzerland'. A sign board was also put showing the distance from Swiss Capital Berne - 6194 kms. The main theme of this place is various things and climate and the topographical resemblance also with Switzerland. Anyone can found this place just like the Switzerland.
